Why You May Want to Crop Early in Your Workflow
In this video I demonstrate why you may want to crop early in your workflow. This would be applicable to anyone that uses any type of "Auto" tone settings.

Shot through plexiglass. Used rubber lens hood to eliminate reflections: https://amzn.to/2Wt3Cfb
With it, I’m able to press it tight against the glass which gets rid of any reflection.

Handheld
Manual Mode - Auto ISO
Single Point Focus on the ocelot’s eye
Spot exposure from eye as well — that is why it’s overexposed. The camera exposed for the cat’s darker eye.
Continuous Focus Mode (AFC)
High Speed Continuous Mode — Fired off bursts of 3-7 shots
1/200sec, F5.6, iso: 8000
Shot at 200mm - taking into account 1.5x crop factor of the D500: 300mm
