THIS IS LIVE MUSIC 2 | BEATS, MOOG & YANGQIN
This is the third track from the soon-to-be-released album, 'This Is Live Music', composed with my collaborator, Fred Fung.
The original music bed is filled with Chinese Hammered Dulcimer (Yangqin) which ultimately dictates the melody and flow. Tabla drums, drum kit and Indian hand drums are processed and delayed, creating off-tempo fills and punctuated moments.
My contributions consist of another live drum track, along with some sampled MiniMoog leads, both are single takes.
Mixed loud, thumpy & crunchy. THIS IS LIVE MUSIC. Dig.
