Photoshop Quick Tip: Undo Layer Visibility
By default, turning the visibility of the layer on and off does not count in history actions in Photoshop, i.e. you cannot undo them. In this video, we are going to learn how to enable undo layer visibility so that it becomes possible for you to check different compositions, try out different background and foreground elements by turning the layer on and off and also the ability to go back steps at the same time.
It gets problematic and cumbersome especially if you are working on composites with a large number of layers. In these cases, you might have to turn off and turn on certain layers and see how a particular object, image or text looks with or without that layer. In the procedure, you might turn on and off a dozen layers and if you want to go back to the initial stage, recollecting which layers were turned on and which were off is a hard nut to crack. You have no choice but to remember them. In the process, you again might kill a lot of time figuring out how it was before. Why? You just cannot Undo it. Layer visibility by default does not count as Undo.
That's what we are going to solve in this video. After getting this thing right, you will never ever have a problem working with composites!
