Gimp 2.6 – The GNU Image Manipulation Program

Gimp is a freeware image manipulation program that allows users to make a wide variety of modifications to pictures by offering a wide range of tools and capabilities. The purpose of this video is to demonstrate the major functions that this program has to offer to the user; this program can be used as a replacement to Adobe Photoshop although there might be some features that might not be as complex as the ones found on the Adobe Photoshop program. It is also important to keep in mind that this program shouldn’t be used for professional photo editing purposes due to the fact that the primary purpose of this program is to make basic photo editing.
