RULES:
PHOTO CONTEST PARAMETERS FOR PICTURE: -
A: Your hand(s) or finger MUST BE visible in the picture!
B: *****The Maximum size of the object IN YOUR HAND(s) must be NO LARGER THAN A SINGLE HAND (One example: holding someone’s face, only a PORTION of that face no bigger than your SINGLE hand must be either shot or cropped making the picture. EXAMPLE: You cannot for example, hold someones face with one or both hands and make it a shot of an ENTIRE FACE!)
C: Macro is the PREMISE of this contest, but all those without a macro lens, can take a picture of anything IN THEIR HAND(S) so long as it is the SIZE of a single hand OR SMALLER (of course, such as a bug, etc.) or both hands together cupping an object that is as small or smaller than a single hand.
**D: ***!!!!EXAMPLES……. Holding a baby kitten that fits inside your hand or cupped hands. A macro shot of a bug on your finger, a macro shot of your beloved object, wedding ring, flower, a rock, a frog, a handful of water that is illuminated as you see as best. A hand on someone’s / child’s face, but the picture MUST NOT be of any PORTION of the face bigger than your single hand!! Holding your favorite lens, or a PART OF (a camera is bigger than your hand!!) your favorite camera.
E: YES, you can use someone ELSES hand(s) for the picture (say for example, your child holding a little hamster, bug, piece of string, etc)
F: POST LINK TO the ONE picture below with link. No Facebook etc links allowed, must be a simple link that anyone can click on. NO cell-phone photography submissions.
DETAILS:
1. Entry submissions for photos allowed until midnight on Wednesday AUGUST 10th E.S.T. SO YOU HAVE 10 DAYS TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY TO BE JUDGED FOR WINNING
2. ANYONE ANYWHERE CAN ENTER this contest (unless you live in Antarctica !!)
3. FINAL WINNER TO BE ANNOUNCED Thursday August 11th by Noon
4. 4 Independent judges will tally up the top 3 finalists and a DRAWING will be made of the top 3 finalists to declare the winner as seen on the final video on Thursday Aug. 11th.
