Exact quote from his video: - “Sony, Pentax, Nikon mfg has a 1.5X crop factor…their sensors are slightly bigger than the Canon sensor if you Calculate the SQUARE SURFACE AREA of them, and what that means is that at any given ISO the canon sensor is gathering 8.6% less light and therefore it is generally going to have 8.6% more noise”
By using the word “ISO” he is EXACTLY referring to EXPOSURE being “worse” due to SENSOR SIZE
