Nik Collection - Episode 5: HDR Efex Pro 2
This is the 5th video of a series where I demonstrate the suite of plugins from Nik Software . I'll be using them in Lightroom but they also work in Photoshop and Aperture.
In this episode, I'll be demoing HDR Efex Pro 2.
HDR Efex Pro 2 creates an HDR Tone Mapped image from a group of bracketed images. In the video I discuss my strategy when shooting for an HDR and I process a sunset with HDR Efex Pro 2
***In the video, I show a few "BUGS" in the program***
Google replied to my query and told me the problem is with El Capitan and they're working on fixing it. They told me a very simple workaround. On any of the boxes that pop up such as "Settings" or the box to name a custom preset, all you need to do is move the box around on the screen with the mouse, after you do that, you'll be able to access and change things in the box such as specific settings or naming your custom preset.
As for the save issue, once I moved the Settings box around, I found that it saved the image properly and loaded the image in Lightroom as it should. If I didn't move the box, it didn't save the image correctly. Weird huh?
