When a new camera gets announced like the Nikon D3100 and D7000 you start to think should I get it and move my camera? The honest truth is when you are just starting out and you are early in your 5 year plan you best bet is to learn the camera you have and invest in glass. When you reach that point where you are making money which should be around year 2 in your 5 year plan than you can start to think about the new body.
At this point you will have purchased better glass and that better glass will work extremely well on your NEW BOYD. If you bought the new body every time it came out you wouldn't have good glass and you would basically be throwing your money away.
