Investing in Emerging Talent and the Power of Mentoring

NYC Salt is a nonprofit digital photography program for high school students in NYC. Our program is run by professionals in the creative industry and focuses on helping students build portfolios for college, internships, and mentoring. Every student in our residency program is matched with a professional photographer or photo editor. This relationship lasts the entire time the student is in high school and then through college. Our students are receiving awards, scholarships, acceptance at top schools, and amazing freelance opportunities because of the professionals who so generously give their time and talent to mentor a younger generation of emerging artists.
