How to Get Started with Mixing (basic workflows, tips & tricks) (AUDIO 101: Part 11)

In this episode of Audio 101 (Part 11), I cover all of the basics for beginning a mix in *any* DAW (with a focus on workflow in Audition; but again, these processes can apply to virtually any DAW you're using)

From creating a new session and importing files, labeling and grouping tracks, basic pan & level adjustments and performing an 'all-faders' mix before beginning...

After that, I dive into mixer signal flow describing how to use FX inserts, Busses/Sends, the meaning and use cases for Pre-Post Fader sends, phase inversion, track EQ & VST EQs, master fader effects and finally, mix automation.

As with the other 101 episodes, this (90-minute) video is comprehensive with lots of detail and various audio references/best practices. As always, a good listening environment (or headphones) are recommended.
