First Look: Canon | ME-200S-SH and Compact Servo 18-80mm T4.4 Lens
In this interview, Ken Rowe stops by to talk about the just-announced Canon Compact Servo 18-80mm T4.4 lens, and the ME-200S-SH camera. The first in a brand new line, the 18-80mm combines the best elements of both the still image L lineup, and the EF cinema primes, with auto focusing, selectable manual aperture, image stabilization, cinema coatings, all in a parfocal lens.
The ME-200S-SH also combines the production flexibility of the ME-20 with the Super35 sensor of the C100 Mark II, to provide a cinema-ready camera that be placed into a wide range of productions, thanks to its multiple SDI connections, power options, and remote control functions.
