The more precise and accurate the selection, the more realistic the effect. In this tutorial, after learning how the phenomenon of diffraction works, and what role does it play in shaping the backlight, we will learn how to combine masks and groups of layers to create this effect. However, the effect by itself does not add mood or drama to the image. In order to add that, we can experiment by trying different combinations of adjustment layers like Color Lookup with Blend if and Vibrance.
