Analog vs Digital Documentary Trailer | Early Rough Cut
A still-in-progress rough cut about a documentary I'm making about the portable synth and gaming technology in 1981. It focuses on three specific specific devices: The Moog Rogue (analog, monophonic), the Casio VL-TONE (digital, monophonic) and Midway's scaled (LED-screened) micro-mini portable arcade games (Galaxian & Pacman)
There's some rough grading on here, and the animated titles & effects were laid down really quickly. Too much wiggle, but it was an idea in the moment.
The soundtrack I recorded is a remake of the Runaway's 'Queens of Noise'. It will eventually contain vocals, I'm just not sure whose vocals it will contain:)
