500,000
I went to bed last night knowing that sometime overnight I would cross the 500,000 Subscriber mark. So when I woke up this morning and saw 500,052 a lot of thoughts ran through my head.
The first thought was something along the lines of 500,000 is cool but I would like to hit 1,000,000 lol. But the truth of the matter is this is a huge feat and holds a lot of meaning.
Everyone who has ever started a channel started with zero. I remember when I first started making videos from my parents house and would get 32 views on a video. Sometimes I would get 100 and over time the views and subscribers start to grow. It's honestly a long road even though some people are adding this amount every couple months with is fantastic.
But the major point I want to make is that 500,000+ times someone decided to click the subscribe button. That means someone actively took action and said I want to follow this person.
Sure not everyone who subscribes watches every video and I am sure many people have subscribed and don't watch any at all. But the real numbers here are that I have had over 71,000,000 views. That is a lot of eyeballs, a lot of time watched, a lot of content consumed, a lot of education passed along. That number means a lot.
The funny thing is I don't have one video over a million views. But what I do have is over 2,000 videos that have amassed 71+ million views over the last almost 6 years.
I want to thank everyone who has ever watched one of my videos or even taken the time to press the subscribe button, it means a lot.
Without you guys I wouldn't still be cranking out content each and every day in the hope that I can make more fun and informative videos.
